Meet at Fair Green, Navan 10am Sunday 10th July

This event is for reasonably confident and competent adult cyclists.  If you have not been on the bike for a while you will be very welcome. We will cycle at a leisurely pace that is conducive to chat and we will be stopping at Flanagan’s shop in Dunderry for ☕ and 🍦. The return route to Navan is by the quiet Shambo Road and Commons Road, finishing up at Leon’s in Market Square for more ☕ 🍨🍰

The route is on country roads.  There will not be stewarding/marshalling at junctions.

Particular care is required as follows:

At the start take care at the Fair Green/Circular Road junction and the Solstice Roundabout when turning right into Railway Street.

Turning left from Clogherboy onto the old Athboy Road (1.9km) use the cycle lane on the left – Do not go onto the Andy Connolly roundabout.

Turning left from the old Athboy Road (5.4km) onto N51 STOP and be alert for fast traffic approaching from the right. Keep well in to hard shoulder for the ~400m stretch along N51.
