
Navan Community Cycle for Bike Week 2022!
Experience Cycling in Navan without Traffic!

- Where: Meath County Council Offices, Buvinda House, Navan
Join our largest ever event with a leisurely tour of Navan in this FREE event, where you can enjoy a traffic-free experience, chat with the cycling community, and support safer streets for cycling.
The cycle is open to everyone with a bike. For the safety and health of everyone involved, we have some rules:
- All participants must wear a helmet,
- All participants must be at least 6 years of age and must be able to cycle independently – no balance bikes, no stabilisers, no scooters
- All bikes must be roadworthy. If in doubt, chat with a Marshal before the event
- Younger children may participate as passengers on parent/guardian’s bikes
Route
We’re setting off from the Meath County Council offices in Navan. The route is 7.8 km (similar to previous years), and will take around 45 minutes. The route will take us past historic Athlumney Castle, over the River Boyne, through the town centre, past Beaufort College, and back over the Boyne to Buvinda House.
