Family Cycle at Bike Fest
Navan Bike Fest kicks off this Sunday with our ever-popular Family Cycle!

Family Cycle
- When: 10:30am Sunday 12th September
- Where: Coláiste na Mí, Navan
We’re expecting a huge turnout at our ever-popular Family Cycle – a leisurely spin around Navan for all ages and abilities.
The Family Cycle will depart from Coláiste na Mí at 10:30am arrive back around 11:15 / 11:30am.
The cycle is open to everyone with a bike. For the safety and health of everyone involved, we have some rules:
- All participants must wear a helmet,
- All participants must be at least 6 years of age and must be able to cycle independently – no balance bikes, no stabilisers, no scooters
- All bikes must be roadworthy. If in doubt, chat with a Marshal before the event
- Younger children may participate as passengers on parent/guardian’s bikes
- Each participant must carry a mask. A mask must be worn if close to a person outside their own ‘bubble’ – e.g. in the event of a puncture. Current Covid-19 restrictions apply – maximum 200 participants & 2m social distancing rules
Route
We’re doing final checks on the route. It will be roughly the same distance as previous events, and will be fully marshalled.
