Navan Cycling Initiative has been a group member of Dublin Cycling Campaign / Cyclist.ie since we started in 2020.  Our group insurance is arranged through our membership of Cyclist.ie. Following approval of a new constitution from the Charities Regulator, Dublin Cycling Campaign CLG held an Extraordinary General Meeting on 4th January 2024 that adopted the new constitution and a new name that better reflects the national nature of the organisation – Irish Cycling Campaign.  The new arrangements will mean changes to the membership structure and how membership subscriptions are collected.  The day to day operation of Navan Cycling Initiative will not change.

Under the old membership structure each of us joined the Local Group – Navan Cycling Initiative and paid an annual membership subscription to the Local Group. Navan Cycling Initiative paid an annual group membership fee to Cyclist.ie.

Under the new structure each of us will join Cyclist.ie as an individual member and will pay an individual annual membership subscription to Cyclist.ie. When joining we select Navan Cycling Initiative as our Local Group. Navan Cycling Initiative will continue to operate relatively autonomously as before.
