Boyne Greenway Cycle – Drogheda
We’re teaming up with Drogheda Cycling for a leisurely cycle along the Boyne Greenway at Drogheda, across the border of Meath and Louth. Passports not required 😉
Event Details
We’ll start and finish at the car park at Dominic’s Bridge in Drogheda. Free car parking is available on Sunday.
This event is on dedicated cycle paths for the entire route, and is suitable for reasonably confident and competent cyclists. If you have not been on the bike for a while you will be very welcome. We will cycle at a leisurely pace that is conducive to chat and we will be stopping mid-way at the Battle of the Boyne site where there are toilets, a cafe and picnic tables.
The event will showcase the natural beauty of the Boyne Greenway, as well as highlight the urgent need to complete the rest of the greenway from Drogheda on to Navan and Trim, a project which is over 13 years in the making.

Registration
This is a FREE event supported by volunteers at Drogheda Cycling and Navan Cycling Initiative. For safety and insurance reasons, all attendees need to register.
