Family Cycle on BVL Greenway
Our popular Family Cycle on BVL Greenway is an inclusive family-friendly event for all. Starting at Blackwater Park, we’ll head along the recently finished Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway out as far as Wilkinstown and the brilliant Park Beo Greenway Hub for treats – including a free snack bag for all young cyclists! Grab a coffee, an ice-cream, and explore all the greenway has to offer. The distance is about 16km, almost all on greenway.
Boyne Road/ Ramparts Evening Cycle
Wednesday, 15 May at 6.30pm. Free sign up here.
A leisurely evening cycle on the future Boyne Greenway. Meeting at the Ramparts Canal & River Boyne Walk Car Park, we’ll head out along the Boyne Road and back by the Boyne Canal tow-path – the soon to be Boyne Greenway – with stops at Ardmulchan and for ice cream. This event is for reasonably confident and competent cyclists. If you have not been on the bike for a while you will be very welcome.
Wild About Navan Biodiversity Cycle
Sunday May 19th, 11.30am, Boyne Ramparts. Free event, registration required here!
Wild About Navan will lead a biodiversity cycle with Navan Cycling Inititative along the Navan Ramparts exploring the rich biodiversity along the riverside. Led by scientist and biodiversity expert we will stop at several keys points along the river path to identify and learn about the habitats of native plants, trees and animals that thrive along the Boyne.
